What if I live far away from a hospital?  

Here’s how to connect to the closest emergency service. 

Calling Triple Zero (000) in a rural or remote area will automatically connect your call to the closest emergency service. This could be a local clinic that can come to assist you while waiting for the emergency services.

You can call Triple Zero (000) for an ambulance even if:
